COMMUNITY PROJECTS
FOOD COLLECTION
Over 2000 pounds of canned and dry goods will be collected from the participating Pennsbury Elementary Schools and delivered by the Rotarians to the shelter. The food collection program is called Children Helping Children. Each can or other food item is donated by the generous, caring students and their families of the participating Pennsbury Elementary Schools
HELPING THE HOMELESS
Twice a week, Rotarians from the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rotary dedicate their time to the children at the shelter by reading bedtime stories and conducting a craft or science project. They also provide entertainment such as a magic show or inviting a musician to play kids songs.
SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING
Rotarians take turns to stand to and ring the bell in support of the Salvation Army.
HELPING OUR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Through fundraising, we are able to give our local High School Students College Scholarships for their academic achievements.
